Happy Birthday Anushka Shetty: Actor announces 'Anushka 48', watch video

The film is being helmed by Mahesh Babu P and produced by UV Creations.

Anushka Shetty's 48th film has been officially announced. The actor is set to reunite with UV Creations for the third time in an untitled film to be directed by Mahesh Babu P. They earlier collaborated on Mirchi and Bhaagamathie. Both UV Creations and Anushka took to their social media pages to announce the much-anticipated project in Telugu movies.

While Anushka thanked fans and her well-wishers for the birthday messages along with which she announced the film. The actor captioned the video as "With all the birthday wishes & love that is being cherished upon, I am happy to announce my next movie to you all. My next is with Director #MaheshBabuP and @uvcreationsofficial Smile Always, Always Forever."

Meanwhile, Anushka has no releases in 2021 and she had only one movie outing in 2020 which hit Amazon Prime Video. Yes, we are talking about Nishabdham co-starring R Madhavan. The bilingual film was released in both the Tamil and Telugu languages.

Talking about Anushka's career graph, the actor made her acting debut in 2005 and since then there's been turning back for her. She has featured in movies released mainly in Tamil and Telugu.

Her popular works in Telugu include Super, Arundhati, Vedam, Nagavalli, Dhamarukam, Mirchi, Rudhramadevi, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Bhaagamathie.

Talking about UV Creations, they are currently gearing up for Radhe Shyam which is a period romantic drama starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film directed by Radha Krishna Kumar is set to hit the big screens on January 14, 2022.
