HanuMan on OTT - Where to watch Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s film after its theatrical run

HanuMan, the superhero film starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, co-written and directed by Prasanth Varma, is staying in the news for the right reasons. Starring Amritha Aiyer as the female lead, the film also features a host of talented actors including Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Getup Srinu, Raj Deepak Shetty, Vennela Kishore and Satya. K Niranjan Reddy backs it under PrimeShow Entertainment.

The trailer of the film was released today to a roaring response from critics and movie-buffs alike and it has set the tone right for the promotional campaign, leading up to its release on January 12, 2024. The ZEE group has acquired both the satellite and digital rights of the action-adventure. The film will be telecast on television via multiple channels owned by the brand across languages.

Post its theatrical release for Sankranthi 2024, HanuMan is expected to premiere on ZEE5 in the second half of February. The film is releasing in over 10 languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Whether the superhero saga will release on the same day across multiple languages remains unknown.

The film marks the second collaboration between Teja Sajja and director Prasanth Varma after Zombie Reddy (streaming on aha). Despite facing multiple injuries during shoot, Teja went onto perform several challenging stunts for HanuMan,. The actioner has three composers - Krishna Saurabh, Anudeep Dev and Hari Gowra. Tips Music has bagged the audio rights.

Saibabu Talari is the editor of the film while Sivendra Dasaradhi is the cinematographer. Sri Nagendra Tangala is the production designer with Prasanth Varma’s startup Scriptsville working on the screenplay. Asrin Reddy is the executive producer and Lanka Santoshi is the costume designer respectively. The entertainer is the first film from Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe (PVCU).
