HanuMan has become a blockbuster hit at the box office and looking at the way the film is going, it will surely cross the Rs 150 crore mark worldwide very soon. Prasanth Varma directed this film which had Teja Sajja as the main lead.

The young director is being lauded for the way he has directed the film on such a small budget of Rs 20 crore. He is being lauded as the next big thing and all eyes are on his next film which many think will be a sequel to HanuMan. But not many know that as the VFX part of HanuMan took a lot of time and release also got postponed, Prasanth Varam silently wrapped up a new film in the meantime.

Not many in the industry even know about this film. All this while, everyone was thinking that Prasanth was shooting for the patchwork scenes of HanuMan. But Prasanth has gone ahead and done an experimental low-budget film yet again. The film has also wrapped up its shoot and is busy with its post-production.

One of the biggest surprises of the project is that none other than Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for this film. This news has come out recently and it will be announced on a special note once the Hungama of HanuMan slows down. The star cast and technical team have been kept a secret as of now and we need to see what Prasanth Varma has in store for us this time.

HanuMan has even crossed the records of RRR in a few areas like the US and is now marching towards the 4 million dollar mark which shows how much the film is being loved. HanuMan was released as a Sankranthi 2024 special along with biggies Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, and Naa Saami Ranga. The distributors of these films did not give theatres to HanuMan and the superhero film had a limited release.

With such a release, HanuMan has grossed close to Rs 75 crore worldwide. Imagine what kind of numbers the HanuMan would have clocked if it had a wide release. In the days to come, HanuMan will get more screens as the occupancy for the other biggies will go down as Saindhav and Guntur Kaaram have opened to mixed response.

There will be more once the Sankranthi holidays get over this weekend. So, now that HanuMan is done and dusted with its release, all eyes are now on Prasanth Varma's next which has been kept as a surprise. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
