HanuMan turned out to be a surprise box office blockbuster. Having grossed over Rs 300 crore at the worldwide box office, the fantasy drama is still running in a few theatres in Telugu states. Prasanth Varma is the man behind this film and he is being considered the next big thing in Telugu cinema.

Teja Sajja, who played the main lead, is also a much-in-demand actor now and has been signing several films. We have now come to know that Teja has hiked his remuneration considerably for his upcoming Telugu films.

The young actor, who was being paid under Rs 1 crore, is now demanding close to Rs 5 crore, as per the news. A few producers are also ready to pay him this big money and invest in his films, as he has a pan-India reach now. Teja did not sign any film during the making of HanuMan and waited until the film was released.

Teja started off as a child actor in Telugu films and has starred in over 30 movies with top heroes. He made his debut as a lead in Samantha's Hey Baby, which was directed by Nandini Reddy. His solo film as a lead was Zoombie Reddy, which was also directed by HanuMan's Prasanth Varma; it was a big hit at the box office.

With HanuMan, Teja is seeing new heights of stardom. He was the most searched Indian celebrity on Wikipedia in January 2024. That shows how much interest the audience has in Teja Sajja since the release of HanuMan. He has signed multiple films that will be announced in the days to come.
