Raju Dussa has helmed the film which only features a single character, played by the lead actress
Hansika Motwani, recently seen in Mahaa, her 50th film, is gearing up for her Telugu cinema comeback after a four year sabbatical. The actress, who had last teamed up with Sundeep Kishan for the slapstick comedy Tenali Ramakrishna BA LLB in Telugu, will be seen in a thriller next. The film titled 105 Minutes is directed by Raju Dussa and produced by Bommak Shiva.
105 Minutes is touted to be an experimental film featuring a single character. Interestingly, this is also a single shot film. Commemorating Hansika’s birthday today, the makers released a special poster of the film. In the poster, a wounded Hansika is staring at herself in the mirror. There are a lot of blood stains on her tee. She is surrounded by a series of trees in a forest-like backdrop.
The team expressed its happiness about the positive response for the new poster. With renewed enthusiasm, they plan to launch the teaser shortly. “We released this poster to convey our birthday wishes to Hansika. We will unveil the teaser and trailer shortly. 105 Minutes has an unusual story and screenplay. We experimented with the making and the result will surprise you,” the director said.
“Hansika has done a terrific job carrying a single-character film on her shoulders. We’re working on the post-production formalities now. We’ll announce the release date soon,” the filmmaker added. Sam CS, who composed for Ramarao on Duty recently, is the music director of 105 Minutes. Durga Kishore has cranked the camera for the film which has production design by Brahma Kadali.
Syam Vadavali is editing the film whose action sequences are choreographed by Malli. Roopa Kiran Ganji is the executive producer and Jaison Jose is the sound designer respectively. Hansika, who was a popular child artiste, made her Telugu debut with Allu Arjun’s Desamuduru and went onto star in films like Oh My Friend, Denikaina Ready, Power, to name a few.
