Hansal Mehta, nowadays, is in the headlines for directing a spectacular Netflix film titled, Scoop. This crime drama is based on a biographical memoir, Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison. It follows the real-life story of journalist Jigna Vora who was accused of the murder of reporter Jyotirmoy Dey in June 2011. Scoop features popular television actress Karishma Tanna in the lead role.
