Here’s presenting the top 5 reasons for the viewers to watch Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s riveting revenge drama ‘Haddi’:

Why should you watch this movie?
Extremely strong storyline:
Nawazuddin Siddiqui has always been synonymous with challenging roles. ‘Haddi’ is no different. The film sees him in the role of Harika, who happens to be a transgender. The manner in which Nawazuddin Siddiqui has got into the skin of the character is totally flawless. This film will definitely be counted as one of the path breaking films of his career.

Picture-perfect casting:

One has to give it to the casting director Mohd Talib who has done an extremely meticulous job of casting in the film. Besides Nawazuddin Siddiqui of course, the rest of the cast too have done an extremely incredible job. There is not even a single character in the film that looks out of place or thrusted upon in the film.

Magic hands of make-up
Even though Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mere name is enough for the audience to fathom the stellar performance that they can expect from the character played by him. Even though that fact cannot be challenged by anyone, still, the makers of the film ensured that, even the make-up (Subhash Shinde) done by Nawazuddin Siddiqui has to be in sync with his character as well as the film’s plot. Besides Nawazuddin Siddiqui, even the other characters looked as authentic as possible in their roles of transgenders. Whoever thought of giving a ‘haircut’ to Nawazuddin Siddiqui really deserves to be patted on their back for having done a splendid job at that. It’s not an easy task to be able to pull off those heavy layers of make-up and wig with a smile.

Film’s right ‘direction’

After having worked on many projects as an independent filmmaker and writer, Haddi’s director Akshat Ajay Sharma has really come a long way. His experience of being an Assistant Director in ‘Mukkabaaz’ to being a Creative Assistant and Associate Editor in the Vicky Kaushal-Taapsee Pannu-Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Manmarziyan’ (2018). He also has been a long-time associate and creative collaborator of Anurag Kashyap, which gets reflected in his perfect direction of ‘Haddi’. Hats off to his direction and the very thought of including real life transgenders to act in the film.

Film’s soul-stirring music
It’s always said that music is the essence of the soul. And when the soul happens to be an extremely hard-hitting film like ‘Haddi’, music lands up playing an extremely vital role in the film. The film’s music helps in shaping up the film into a make-believe one. The duo of Rohan Gokhale & Rohan Pradhan have indeed done a spectacular job in the music department.

Besides Nawazuddin Siddiqui, ‘Haddi’ also stars Anurag Kashyap, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Saharsh Kumar Shukla, Rajesh Kumar, Saurabh Sachdeva, Ila Arun, Abhishek Bharadwaj and others in important roles.
