'Haath pair jodna padta hai': Akshay Kumar on Bollywood actors not being open to multistarrer films

Akshay Kumar is one of those actors who has never shied away from doing any kind of role. The star has been a part of several multi-starrer projects, which not many actors opt for in today's times. Talking about the same, during a recent group media interaction, Akshay revealed how he has always found it interesting to work in multi-starrer projects and that many actors should also do this.

The actor stated, "I would not say names, but there is a dearth of actors thinking let's do a two-to-three hero film. I keep on scratching my head and I don’t understand why they don’t want to do it. It is so wonderful to do a three-hero subject, a four-hero subject, or even a five-hero subject. What happened in Hollywood? But here they don't want to do it."

Akshay went on to say, "Do mein hi mushkil se maante hai log. Haath pair jodne padte hai. Samajh mein nahi aa raha hai ki kyu nahi kar sakte, chaar ladkiyan hai aur main akela hoon. (Actors hardly agree on a two-hero project. We have to beg for them to do it. I don't understand why they can't do it. We have four girls and me alone). I am assuming one day it will happen and they will change."

When asked why he chose to do it, Khiladi Kumar replied, saying, "Because the script is nice, I want to do it. I want to be a part of a good film and a hit film more than my role. main apne role ka achaar daalunga? (What will I even do with that role?) If it's a three-hero subject and my role is just fine, but the story is amazing, I would want to be a part of it. When people talk about those hit films, they will mention that I was in the film. So, it's going to benefit me also."

Akshay added, "Nowadays, I don't understand what kind of math they are thinking of. We should do two or three hero films. We should get into it. They had the wrong calculation."
