Gyeongseong Creature Season 2

Gyeongseong Creature season 2 moved on from the fear of a big creature to the fear of humans. The show, featuring Park Seo-jun and Han So-hee in the lead roles, is now going to spread the terror across the globe. The ending of the show revealed the same. While Claudia Kim's Maeda kept the fear alive, another has come to take her throne. He is Bae Hyun-sung's Seung-jo. Here's everything that happened to the characters by the end of the series...

Park Seo-jun's Ho-jae and Han So-hee's Chae-ok are absolutely in love

Park Seo-jun's Master Jang now goes by the name of Ho-jae. Han So-hee's Chae-ok was Silverball originally. They met, she reminded him of his past with the help of Bae Hyun-sung's Seung-jo, and once again, Ho-jae and Chae-ok fell in love and acted on their feelings. Chae-ok is now no longer the creature. They separated after Ho-jae saved her, only to have a beautiful reunion. This is after she lost her memory, lived with Ahn Jong-hyeok (Park Tae-in)'s grandmother (Park Hye-jin), but knew that she was missing something in life. He was the missing piece.

Where is Claudia Kim's Maeda now?

Claudia Kim (Kim Soo-hyun)'s character Maeda was the mastermind behind the project in season 1. She is responsible for the experiments and the creature being created in the first place. Maeda got back in season 2 as the CEO of Jeonseung Biotech. She led the experiments on the forefront this time. After almost getting her revenge on Ho-jae and Chae-ok, Maeda dies. She dies at the hands of Seung-jo, a man she raised to be like her.

Seung-jo's devious plan goes global

Bae Hyun-sung's Seung-jo ended up overthrowing Maeda and taking over the project. He made the project a global mission. Already with a twisted mind, Seung-jo ensures that the formula which turns humans into creatures is mixed with drinking water. This water has made its way to convenience stores. The series ends with the bottles being kept at the back of the refrigerator in a convenience store. It is already obvious that people from across the globe visit Korea and their convenience stores. Owing to that, the virus is bound to spread globally. Season 2 ended at that, and if season 3 is ever released, it is likely to see the leads deal with the global problem.
