The mind-bending trailer for ZEE5's upcoming show Gyaarah Gyaarah is about to break all the rules of space and time. Premiering on August 9, this co-production between Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor asks viewers to consider the idea of modifying the past to influence the present and future. The trailer transports viewers to a fantastical realm where the seemingly impossible becomes a reality, prompting them to question the nature and significance of time. Umesh Bist directs Gyaarah Gyaarah which showcases an ensemble cast including Raghav Juyal, Gautami Kapoor, Gaurav Sharma, Mukti Mohan, and Purnendu Bhattacharya, along with lead actors Dhairya Karwa, Raghav Juyal, and Kritika Kamra.

Gyaarah Gyaarah plot synopsis

The enthralling plot of Gyaarah Gyaarah intertwines the captivating stories of two police officers from different time periods. The enigmatic walkie-talkie plays a pivotal role in this story. Dhairya Karwa stars as a veteran detective named Shaurya Anthwal from the 1990s, while Raghav Juyal plays a young police officer named Yug Arya. A mysterious communication device connects them, activating for a brief 60 seconds at 11:11 PM. Kritika Kamra portrays Vamika Rawat, a determined lady, at the centre of the temporal whirlwind. The late senior detective Shaurya Anthwal, who disappeared without a trace, trained Vamika Rawat, who is now mentoring young Yug Arya, a police officer in the present day.

By working together to solve all of the cold cases, Shaurya and Yug change the course of history, though they don't realise it at the time. Vamika finds her subordinate's unusual insights more and more perplexing, even if she is unaware of the remarkable bond between Shaurya and Yug. Resolving each mystery brings this strange group closer to the shocking revelation of the officer's disappearance and the essence of their improbable bond. As they race against the clock and face the consequences of their choices that change the passage of time, will they discover the truth about their enigmatic connection, or will the danger of changing their fate be too much to handle?

Actors' experiences

Talking about the series, Kamra said in a statement that stepping into the world of Gyaarah Gyaarah has been an exhilarating journey for her. This role has presented her with challenges she's never encountered before; it's an entirely new experience for her. Playing the role of a police officer in this surreal mystery thriller has been both exciting and taxing. Furthermore, it is an honour to collaborate with visionaries such as Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor; their direction and enthusiasm for the project were tremendously motivating. The unconventional way this story combines time, tension, and human emotions makes the show's storytelling graph very one-of-a-kind and thrilling.

Starring in Gyaarah Gyaarah has changed Juyal's life. He made a smooth transition from hosting to comedy parts after beginning his career on a TV reality show. The actor owes a huge debt of gratitude to Guneet for seeing his talent and pushing him to take on more demanding parts in his career in Bollywood. Though it's a departure from his typical roles, Raghav is appreciative of the chance to play a police officer, and the weight of responsibility that comes with it is heavy. 

Delving headfirst into the world of Gyaarah Gyaarah has been an incredible journey for Karwa. It's been an exciting experience to bring to life the intriguing concept of controlling time and how it influences our choices. Working with Karan Johar, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Umesh, as well as such a gifted ensemble, has been an incredible privilege. Nothing the actor has ever worked on has been as demanding, thought-provoking, or engaging as this project. He is eagerly anticipating the ZEE5 audience's immersion in this unique blend of tension and thriller that tests the vision of reality.

This suspenseful mystery will challenge viewers' fundamental beliefs about the nature of reality, space, and time.
