Daali Dhananjaya’s milestone 25th film, which released in theatres yesterday (March 30), Gurudev Hoysala, is the actor’s second collaboration with the production house KRG Studios. While the film did not have a massive opening in terms of box office revenue on day 1, reviews and audience feedback have been massively positive, bolstering hope that footfalls will improve in the coming days.

Karthik Gowda and Yogi G Raj, who run KRG Studios, though, are immensely pleased with the film’s opening and the actor. They’d earlier made Rathnan Prapancha with Dhananjaya, which eventually got a direct-to-OTT release, but was much appreciated. In fact, the duo has enlisted the actor for their third production too, a film called Uttarakaanda, which is expected to go on floors shortly. It would not be wrong to say that the actor is as good as a lucky mascot for KRG Studios.

It is no wonder, then, that Karthik and Yogi decided to do something special for Dhananjaya. The duo just gifted the actor a brand new car, which, as it turns out, is the epitome of luxury. Dhananjaya is now the proud owner of a Toyota Vellfire, which is a seven seater mini van lounge variant, the cost of which is only a tad shy of Rs 1 crore. In Sandalwood, Yash and Sudeep also own the same car.

Dhananjaya took to social media to thank Karthik and Yogi. “25thfilm and a special gift from my special people. Love you and cheers for more and more things we are going to do together. Thanks for such good memories,” he posted along with a picture of the car and the trio.

The actor is said to have completed his portions for Zebra, a film he is doing with Tollywood actor Satyadev, which should clear the decks for Uttarakaanda. Directed by Rathnan Prapancha maker Rohit Padaki, this will also mark Ramya’s return to cinema.
