Guntur Kaaram first single: Producer Naga Vamsi confirms release date, says fans can expect four songs

The countdown for the release of Guntur Kaaram has already begun as far as Mahesh Babu fans are concerned. With the actor playing a rugged, massy role in his mega reunion project with Trivikram Srinivas, the stakes are obviously quite high but one is compelled to wait till Sankranti 2024 to witness the magic. Guntur Kaaram will be out in theatres on January 12, 2024.

The makers, though, have been a tad miserly thus far in releasing promotional material or "updates" concerning the film, causing the same fans to feel a little vexed. One major update that they have been looking forward to is the first single from the film which has been in the offing for quite some time but is yet to make its way out.

However, producer Naga Vamsi seems to finally have good news to bring some respite in this case. Speaking to the media earlier today, the producer confirmed that "at any cost", the first song from Guntur Kaaram will be out the first week of November. He refrained from specifying the date, though, but he asserted that with only about two months to go for the theatrical release and as many as four songs pending in the stack, the first Guntur Kaaram song is just around the corner. A few reports claim that November 7 could be the chosen date.

Speaking of the music of Guntur Kaaram, S Thaman returns for a new collaboration with Trivikram. The composer has previously delivered a supremely successful soundtrack in Ala Vaikunthapuramloo and one expects Guntur Kaaram's sound to be on par at the least, if not better.

There have been rumours, of late, about Mahesh Babu opting to replace S Thaman with another composer but the latter quashed them all saying that the music of Guntur Kaaram is shaping quite well.

The cast of Guntur Kaaram also includes Sreeleela as the film lead with Meenaakshi Chaudhary, Ramya Krishnan, Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi and others. Mahesh Babu, going by the leaked synopsis, plays an underworld don who falls in love with a journalist trying to expose the "illegal activities in the city".
