Guns & Gulaabs: Rajkummar Rao announces wrap of his Netflix series, also featuring Dulquer Salmaan

Actor Rajkummar Rao has wrapped up the shoot of his Netflix series, Guns & Gulaabs. Created by The Family Man fame, Raj & Dk, this is the first Netflix series of the Stree actor. The series also stars Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav and T J Bhanu.

The actor took to social media to make the announcement. Sharing a photograph from the sets with the directors, he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post that he had a wonderful time shooting for three months for his first web series for Netflix with the popular director duo Raj & DK. He wrote, "And it’s a WRAP for #GunsandGulaabs. My first series with @netflix_in. Such wonderful 3 months with both these extraordinary men @rajanddk. Thank you so much #RajNidimoru and #DK. This journey wouldn’t have been the same without you guys. Thank you team #GunsAndGulaabs, you guys are phenomenal. I had such an amazing time and so much fun playing this part. Can’t wait for you guys to watch it."

The actor had earlier shared his first look from the series where he is seen posing as someone from the 90s, sipping cola. The series tells the story of love and innocence in the world of crime. The project is designed to combine a romance from the 1990s with a crime thriller, all while maintaining a sense of humour.

In a statement earlier, Raj and DK had said that they are ecstatic to be working with Netflix on their latest project. The series is written by Suman Kumar, Raj and DK, and Sumit Arora.
