Finally! The official trailer of Guns and Gulaabs is out now and netizens from all corners of the world are loving it. It not only reminds ardent movie buffs of the ‘90s Bollywood era’ but also throws light on how cinema evolved over a period.
On YouTube, Netflix India dropped the official trailer of the upcoming series. The caption of the trailer read, “Netflix India presents Guns & Gulaabs Official Hindi Trailer Starring RajKummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, TJ Bhanu, Gulshan Devaiah, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Pooja A Gor and Satish Kaushik. Set in the fictional town of Gulaabganj, the series is an ode to Bollywood movies from the 90s.
Soon after this trailer dropped, one YouTube user commented, “When it comes to entertainment, Raj & DK are perfectionist to the core.”
“We trust the script selection of Rajkummar, Gulshan, Adarsh and Dulquer and the direction of Raj and DK. Nothing in the world can top this combo! Can't wait for this series to come on Netflix,” wrote another user.
One more user on YouTube said, “This cast is simply light years ahead of movies like Panipat, Adipurush, Prithviraj Chauhan. 4 highly recommended, highly talented actors on one stage. I bet, if you love true acting talents, you can't simply miss this one.”
X, formerly known as Twitter, too, is flooded with reactions.
“Stakes are high because of the artists and makers associated with the project. Hope it gives out the entertainment promised in the trailers,” wrote one Twitter user.
Another Twitter user said, “Alright that's something...Fresh and looks kinda interesting.”
Created by Raj & DK, Guns & Gulaabs also pays a heartfelt tribute to late actor Satish Kaushik.
