Surbhi Jyoti and Gashmeer Mahajani's series Gunaah has been renewed for a second season. After the first season's release, fans were waiting for an update on the new installment. And the makers have finally announced Gunaah 2. The show will mark Surbhi and Gashmeer's return as Tara and Abhimanyu. They will be joined by Darshan Pandya and Shashank Ketkar. Directed by Anil Senior, the new season of Gunaah will start streaming soon.

Gunaah 2 OTT release date is out!

Produced by Bodhitree Multimedia, Gunaah 2 will drop on Disney+ Hotstar, the same OTT platform where season 1 streamed. The first glimpse of Gunaah season two was shared by the streamer on social media. The series will start streaming on January 3, 2025.

While sharing the first glimpse, the streamer mentioned: "Iss saal, insaaf nahi... badla hoga resolution! GunaahS2 starts streaming on Jan 3. GunaahS2OnHotstar (sic)." If you haven't watched it, check out the promo right below:

Talking about his role, Gashmeer Mahajani said Abhimanyu's journey in Gunaah 2 is nothing sort of extraordinary. The actor said his character's choices are more difficult his struggles are more profound and vulnerabilities are 'laid bare'. "It was both challenging and rewarding to portray his evolution, especially as he navigates the tumultuous relationships and high-stakes decisions that define this season. I’m confident that viewers will resonate with the complexities of his character and the emotional depth of his story," shared Gashmeer.

In an official statement, Surbhi Jyoti spoke about reprising Tara's character in Gunaah season two. The actress expressed excitement about witnessing the emotional and intense side of her role. "Tara is thrown into situations that challenge everything she stands for, pushing her strength and emotions to their very limits. The twists in her relationship with Abhimanyu are heart-wrenching and raw, and I think anyone who has ever wrestled with love, guilt, or redemption will deeply connect with her story," revealed Surbhi.
