The new title poster for the upcoming Malayalam movie Gumastan, helmed by Mal.K.Jobi, has been unveiled. Bankrolled by Muzaffir Productions, this captivating legal drama stars Oru Pazhaya Bomb Katha fame Bibin George, along with newcomer Neema Mathew as the female lead. The film also features Dileesh Pothan, Jais Jose, Rony David Raj and Aziz Nedumangad in key roles. Filming is set to commence on October 24, covering places like Etumanoor, Kitangur and Palakkad.

The title poster of Gumasthan showcased a few law books, along with some bloodied weapons and a handcuff. The tagline of the film reads, ‘A brutal criminal beyond the law’.
Gumasthan’s plot
The movie centres on a murder that triggers many questions and prompts inquiries regarding justice. As the media investigates the case, the narrative unfolds from the viewpoint of different people connected to it. In addition to examining the concept of justice, Gumasthan also delves into the legal conflict between law officers, and those who manipulate legal loopholes in the system for their own gain.

The film’s ensemble cast also includes Kailash, Maqbool Salman, Shaju Sridhar, Prashant Alexander, IM Vijayan, Unni Lalu, Adil Ibrahim, Anand Roshan, Joy John Anthony, Titus John, Faisal Muhammad, Jeemon George, VG Mathews, Sminu Sijo and Sudheesh Thiruvampadi.

Gumasthan’s music is composed by Stephen Devassi, and the screenplay is written by Riyaz Ismat. Kunjunni S Kumar is the cinematographer, while Ayub Khan serves as the editor.
Bibin George’s previous works
Bibin George was last seen in Vedikettu, helmed by Vishnu Unnikrishnan. He was also the co-writer of the 2019 spoof comedy drama Oru Yemandan Premakatha.
