Gully Rowdy to hit the theatres on September 3

After several delays in shoots due to the pandemic, the action comedy finally gets a release date,

According to latest reports, the Sundeep Kishan and Naha Shetty-starrer Gully Rowdy will release in theatres worldwide on September 3. Sundeep Kishan broke the happy news to his fans on his Twitter handle. The action-comedy is directed by G Naheswara Reddy.

The shoot was interrupted several times due to the rise in the cases of Covid-19 cases in Hyderabad and Telangana. As Hyderabad and Vizag were two prominent shooting spots for Gully Rowdy the team had to postpone the shoot several times due to lockdown.

The movie is said to be a laughter riot. Naheshwara Reddy is known for his comedy movies and he is collaborating with the actor for the second time. Their first venture, Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL that had Sundeep as a lawyer, managed to do well at the box office despite receiving mixed reviews.

The teaser of Gully Rowdy was released a few months ago and featured several veteran comedy actors in Telugu film industry along with Sundeep Kishan delivering some epic one-liners.

Sundeep made his debut in the 2010 movie Prasthanam in which he played an evil brother. The actor is known for his work in Sneha Geetham and Gundello Godari. His best work till today is considered to be the investigative sci-fi thriller Maayavan. The actor is currently busy working on an untitled project with Vijay Sethupathi and sequel of Maayavan.
