The much-loved web show Gullak is back with its fourth season, which is now streaming on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. The web series has opened to a positive feedback from the critics while it remains to be seen how audiences react to it. The TVF show, featuring Jameel Khan, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Geetanjali Kulkarni and Harsh Mayar, premiered today (June 7). While Gullak 4 is available streaming on OTT, the makers have dropped an interesting promo from the show. It features a banter between Annu and his father Santosh Mishra.
Gullak 4 new promo!
The makers of Gullak 4 shared the new promo on SonyLIV's YouTube channel. It highlights the central theme of the foruth season - which is parenting vs adulting. This time around, the Mishra family faces challenges and comes up with different ways to tackle the same. At one point in the promo, Annu (Vaibhav Raj Gupta) tells his father Santosh Mishra (played by Jameel Khan) not to be cynical.
He further jokingly tells his dad that it's time for him to be an 'animal'. While sharing this promo on YT, the makers wrote, "Lekar naye kisson ki khanak, laut aaya hai Gullak #GullakS4 streaming now on Sony LIV (sic)." The series has been created and directed by Shreyansh Pandey while it has been written by Vidit Tripathi.

Vaibhav Raj Gupta on Gullak's success
In an interview with OTTplay, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, aka Annu, spoke about the success of Gullak. The actor revealed that Gullak's recall value increased after season two was released. "And when the second season came, 2nd season ne first ko utha liya (season two picked up the first season). Recall value badh gayi (recall value increased). So, everyone watched the 2nd season first and then saw the first season. Later, they saw the first and second seasons together. That's how it started rolling."
