Ali Fazal, who essayed the role of Guddu Pandit in Amazon Prime Video’s popular web series Mirzapur is loved and appreciated by the audience at large. In a recently released promotional video, when the fans got to see Guddu Bhaiya interacting with his onscreen Mirzapur fame love interest Shriya Pilgaonkar aka Sweety Bhabi their joys knew no bounds. For those who are unversed, Shriya Pilgaonkar will be seen playing the character of a lawyer Kashaf Quaze in an upcoming series by the OTT giant, titled Guilty Minds.
The fun-filled cross-promotion video released by Amazon Prime features both Fazal and Pilgaonkar as they engage in light-hearted banter, discussing a rhetorical legal issue. In the video, the fictional character of Guddu Bhaiya accidentally meets Kashaf Quaze during an online meeting. He’s trying to file a case against a certain fake Guddu Bhaiya from social media and he ends up listening to a piece of better advice from his lawyer.

Streaming giant Amazon Prime Video launched the trailer of its upcoming series Guilty Minds on April 8. The legal drama features Shriya Pilgaonkar, Varun Mitra, Namrata Sheth, Sugandha Garg, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Satish Kaushik, and Deepak Kalra in significant roles.

The trailer shows Kashaf Quaze aka Shriya Pilgaonkar as an ethical lawyer and Deepak Rana portrayed by Varun Mitra as a corrupt practitioner of law who doesn’t mind earning money by being on the wrong side of the rule book.

The protagonists Kashaf Quaze and Deepak Rana are alumni of the same college but one (Rana) is ruthlessly ambitious while the other (Quaze) is idealistic. And to amplify the promotions for the upcoming web series, the makers are surely not leaving any stone unturned.

Thus, Guddu Bhaiya came into the picture and by the reactions of the fans online, it seems like a brilliant idea indeed. In the comments section of the promotional video, the fans can’t stop asking for an update on season 3 of Mirzapur but above all, everyone loved the magic of the onscreen chemistry between the two. Most of the fans commented saying that they wish to see them back together on screen.

For the unversed, Shriya was seen playing Guddu Bhaiya’s love interest Sweety Gupta in Mirzapur.

Guilty Minds is going to release on Amazon Prime Video on April 22.
