Guilty Minds: Amazon Prime Video announces its first legal drama, starring Shriya Pilgaonkar, with an intriguing poster

The streaming giant Amazon Prime Video has announced its first original legal drama series, titled 'Guilty Minds'. Created and directed by Shefali Bhushan and co-directed by Jayant Digambar Somalkar, the web series stars Shriya Pilgaonkar and Varun Mitra in the lead alongside Namrata Sheth, Sugandha Garg, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Satish Kaushik, and Benjamin Gilani among others.

The drama is produced by Karan Grover, Antara Banerjee and Naved Farooqui. The makers announced the web series with an intriguing poster showcasing the actors blindfolded with a white strip of cloth beside the Lady Justice, who also wears a white blindfold.

The legal drama follows the journey of two young and ambitious lawyers who are strikingly opposite to each other. While one follows the ethical code, the other who is associated with a leading law firm deals with all shades of grey. The series also stars Namrata Sheth, Sugandha Garg, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Satish Kaushik, Benjamin Gilani, Virendra Sharma, Diksha Juneja, Pranay Pachauri, Deepak Kalra and Chitrangada Satrupa in pivotal roles and features guest appearances from actors such as Karishma Tanna, Shakti Kapoor and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi.

The actor Shriya took to Twitter to announce the new project too. Sharing a poster, she wrote: "And here we go ! The path to justice is not as easy as it looks. Hearings begin soon. #GuiltyMindsOnPrime" (sic)
