The movie's producers have previously disclosed the locations where it may be streamed online on Disney+ Hotstar when it opens in theatres. But they had not specified a particular date. Moviegoers and fans of the stars who missed it in cinemas are eagerly awaiting the film's digital release. They expected that after its 40-day theatrical run, Grrr would be available on the platform, in line with the existing norm in the Malayalam industry. Nevertheless, the release date was rescheduled for unclear reasons.

Mixed responses for Kunchacko Boban's Grrr

When the Kunchacko Boban film was released in theatres, the public's reaction was not quite unanimous. The trailer gives a narrative spoiler for the film and showcases the humorous sequence of events that happen in the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo in a single day.

A young man called Rejimon got drunk and jumped into the lion's den at the Thiruvananthapuram Zoo. Suraj, who is portraying Zoo Officer Haridas, is tasked with rescuing the young man prior to the arrival of the fire brigade and police. In addition, the teaser emphasises Haridas's union with his wife with sequences that splice between scenes depicting Rejimon's romance with a female. The film also makes reference to the circus of media that surrounds this absurd problem.

Ezra-fame Jay K is the director of this film. Rajesh Madhavan, Shruti Ramachandran, Anagha, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Shobi Thilakan are among the cast members of the movie. Arya and Shaji Nadesan are co-producing the movie under the auspices of August Cinemas and Cineholix.
