The news that Govinda was reuniting with nephew Krushna Abhishek on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma has left the fans excited and this trailer is here to tease even more.

The world has been in the front seat for all the drama that has unfolded between Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek, who have been involved in a family dispute for the past couple of years. There are times when they cross paths, and those moments make the most news. What made news this month is not just them crossing paths but also reuniting for an episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The streamer has now released the trailer for the episode featuring Govinda, Chunky Panday, and Shakti Kapoor. While the banter between the three stars is gold, what caught the attention of netizens was that it marked the reunion of Krushna and Govinda in the same episode.

Govinda and Krushna Abhishek Reunite

In case you are unaware, while none of the family members involved have ever spoken about what the conflict exactly was, they have been vocal about the strains. Most recently, Sunita Ahuja, Govinda’s wife, even spoke about how the discomfort between the families continues. However, we also saw Govinda grace Krushna Abhishek’s sister Arti Singh’s wedding earlier this year. Now, they are reuniting again on The Great Indian Kapil Show.

In the trailer that the streamer has now released, Govinda is seen gracing the show with Chunky Panday and Shakti Kapoor as the trio reminisces about their early days and engages in playful banter. But what caught attention was how Krushna Abhishek and Govinda seemed so joyous in each other’s presence. The two were seen dancing and joking about the rift. Krushna even quipped, “Do saal baad mile hain, aaj nahi chhodunga main.” This established the fact that this is a new journey for the two.

Sharing the trailer on the internet, Netflix captioned it: “Taiyaar ho jaao for 90s swag, non-stop hassi, and a whole lot of comedy. Watch @govinda_herono1, @chunkypanday, and @shaktikapoor in the new episode of #TheGreatIndianKapilShow, iss Funnyvaar, at 8 PM, only on Netflix.”

What was interesting was that Arti Singh was also in the audience and was visibly moved by what was happening on the stage. She witnessed the family reuniting after a long time of misunderstandings.
