Gorre Puranam OTT release date: When to watch Suhas' social drama

Gorre Puranam is Suhas' latest film which hit the screens on September 27, 2024. Now, it has locked its OTT release date.

Gorre Puranam featured Suhas in a lead role and ended as a massive flop at the box office. We at OTTplay have already revealed that Aha has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price. We also revealed that the film will be out on Aha in the second week of October 2024.

Gorre Puranam locks its OTT release date and platform

Now, the news is that Gorre Puranam will be available for streaming on October 10, 2024. The village drama directed by Bobby hit the screens on September 20, 2024. That means the OTT release is happening within three weeks of its release.

One of the sources close to the team tells us that Gorre Puranam was supposed to be a direct OTT release but as Suhas was in good form, the makers planned for a theatrical release and sadly, the film flopped in no time. Gorre Puranam is about a goat that causes rifts between the Hindu and Muslim communities in a small village.

Though the concept was very good, the narration disappointed the audience in a big way. Suhas is one of the most bankable young heroes in Telugu cinema. Each project he attempts is high on content and always ends as a safe zone for the makers. The same was expected for this film as well but things have not worked out and now the film is ready for its OTT release.

Suhas's films are perfect for an OTT watch and his last film Prasanna Vadanam is a smash hit on Aha and is still ranking in the top ten. So, we need to see how this film will fare on OTT when it lands on October 10, 2024. Watch this space for more updates.
