Netflix’s latest K-drama, Goodbye Earth, will premiere on April 26 (Friday) and is expected to open with a higher viewership because of the weekend. The eye-grabbing premise revolves around the inevitable disaster and the citizens of Korea battling with their inner conflict. The series is based on Kotaro Isaka’s Japanese novel ‘The Fool at the End of the World.’
Goodbye Earth is directed by Kim Jin-min of Marriage Contract and My Name fame. The apocalyptic thriller series is inspired by the Japanese bestselling novel ‘The Fool at the End of the World’ by Kotaro Isaka. The makers unveiled a riveting trailer clip earlier in April and stirred the countdown with mass hysteria and panic awaiting the celestial tragedy.
The trailer showcases citizens grappling with the new reality of a disastrous end. It is also highlighted that the Korean peninsula will bear the most impact from the celestial accident in the next 200 days.
