Janhvi Kapoor has only done a handful of movies in a career that is only a few years old. The actor still has a large fan following, with her constantly grabbing the Bollywood limelight. The actor’s next, titled Good Luck Jerry now has a confirmed release date.
Kapoor took to social media to announce the movie’s release date, to the excitement of her fans. In an Instagram post, she shared two posters for the movie, which also confirms that the black comedy will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from July 29.
The first poster features a frantic looking Kapoor pointing a pistol straight at the camera, in what looks like a precarious situation. The second poster however, has a completely different tone to it, even though the actor looks pretty scared in it. She can be seen hiding behind what looks to be a counter, looking as shocked as she is scared.
The second poster in particular gives out a rather humorous tone to the movie, which is touted to be a black comedy. The movie is bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah and Aanand L. Rai under the banner of Lyca Productions and Colour Yellow Productions.
The movie is helmed by Sidharth Sengupta, who has previously directed the TV show Balika Vadhu and the ALT Balaji series Apharan. The movie, which is the remake of Nelson’s black comedy Kolamaavu Kokila, also features Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, and Sushant Singh in important roles.
Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the horror comedy Roohi, which failed to impress fans. The actor is also working on Mili, which is the remake of the Malayalam movie of the same name.
