The song, also featuring Rukmini Vasanth, has been composed by Arjun Janya
More than a month after the first single, Ninnanu Nodida’ from Golden Star Ganesh’s next, Baanadariyalli, came out, comes news that the team is presenting another. On February 8, director Preetham Gubbi will release a video song for Gold Fish, which will also feature Ganesh and Rukmini Vasanth. While Ninnanu Nodida, which was sung by Sonu Nigam, was all about Ganesh’s budding romance with Rukmini’s character, Gold Fish seems more like a fun number.
“Get ready to float with the melody of "Gold Fish" song from #Baanadariyalli 🎊🐠 #GoldFish video song releasing on 8th Feb at 9:45am on @aanandaaudio YouTube Channel,” wrote Preetham, along with a new poster, featuring his lead cast. Interestingly, the latest poster does not include the release date of the film. Preetham had announced on January 15 that he was set to release the film on March 17, which would give him a good two months to promote it. However, shortly after, filmmaker R Chandru revealed that he too was bringing his big-ticket pan-India movie Kabzaa to theatres on the same day, prompting a Ganesh vs Upendra clash at the box office.
In the time since, there have been rumours that Preetham will push his film ahead yet again, although he has not officially confirmed this yet. From the new poster, though, it seems that Baanadariyalli will not be in theatres on March 17. Incidentally, Preetham had earlier planned the film as a Christmas 2022 release, but then pushed it ahead and now, it is getting postponed again. The buzz on social media is that it will now most likely be in theatres in April only.
Baanadariyalli also stars Reeshma Nanaiah, as a wildlife photographer, but the makers are yet to reveal any promotional material featuring her. The film, according to Preetham, is not a love story, but a story about love and has Ganesh playing a cricketer.
