Gopi Ganesh Pattabhi directs the vigilante saga bankrolled by C Kalyan
Doesn’t matter one admits or not, the comfort of wrapping oneself in childhood and hometown nostalgia is unmatched. The very thought of going back to the place where one spent their formative years after a long break, is special. This is exactly the undercurrent emotion behind Ra Rammandi Uru, the first single from Godse, the Satyadev, Aishwarya Lekshmi starrer.
Sung by Ram Miryala, Ra Rammandi Uru is lyricised by Ramajogayya Sastry. Sandy Addanki has composed the tunes for Godse. In the first single, we see Satyadev driving through the muddy roads of his picturesque hometown and getting down from his car to meet a childhood friend. He goes back to the narrow lanes of his younger years, the school he studied at.
Satyadev beautifully emotes the idea of being overwhelmed by nostalgia, as he’s accompanied by his friends. Mellaga from Shatamanam Bhavati was probably the last popular number in Telugu cinema that created a similar impact. However, how does a simple, ordinary man like Satyadev turn into a deadly vigilante? One has to wait for June 17, the film’s release date, to know more.
Gopi Ganesh has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. C Kalyan has bankrolled the film under CK Screens. Aishwarya Lekshmi will be playing an investigating officer in the film that also stars Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Nagababu Konidela, Sijju Menon, Varghese, Prudhvi Raj, Noel Sean, Priyadarshi, Chaitanya Krishna, Pawan Santhosh and Guru Charan.
