The announcement of veteran actor Mohan returning to Tamil cinema after a one-and-a-half decade hiatus left movie lovers elated. The project which has Vijay Sri G at its helm has been titled as Haraa recently. The makers also released its teaser a month ago in which a crucial scene was showcased.
Billed as an action thriller, Kushboo and Yogi Babu among others essay important characters in the movie which has music composed by Leander Lee Marty and lyrics penned by the director himself. Mano Dinakaran and Prahath Muniyasamy have jointly cranked the camera for Haraa which has editing by Guna.
The team has now unveiled a glimpse video which offers a sneak peek into the character Mohan plays in the film. Charuhasan is seen essaying a role which resembles yesteryear politician Bal Thackeray. The veteran actor played one of the pivotal roles in the director's previous outing Dha Dha 87 as well.
His character is seen asking someone to intimate Ram to take up an assignment. Mohan who is disguised as Ram in the movie reveals his real identity to a goon after beating him black and blue. He essays Dahood Ibrahim, a man with dual identity, who reaches Chennai with a mysterious purpose.
The team of Haraa, which is bankrolled by Kovai SP Mohanraj and G Media Jayasree Vijay Sri, is yet to announce its release date. According to the makers, the film's story revolves around the relationship between a daughter and a father. Its story urges the need to introduce school children to different laws in our country.
Vijay Sri G currently has a project titled Powder, too, in his kitty. Vidya Pradeep plays the lead in the mystery drama which has Vaiyapuri and Naan Kadavul Rajendran in crucial characters.
