Ahead of the October 19 release of Ghost, lead actor Shivarajkumar will tour other cities to promote the film and one of his stops will be at an India match
Century Star Shivarajkumar has a busy schedule ahead in the next few days. The actor, who is currently in the midst of promoting his upcoming release Ghost in Karnataka, will begin touring other cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, etc. starting next week. Ghost is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam as well, with everything except the Telugu version hitting theatres on October 19. The Telugu version will probably be pushed ahead by a week, as two big Telugu originals – Tiger Nageshwara Rao and Bhagavanth Kesari - are releasing in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh and getting adequate number of screens may be a task on October 19.

Shivarajkumar, who has been shooting for his upcoming Mufti sequel Bhairathi Ranagal, is on a break till October 25 for the promotions of Ghost, which he is actively involved in. The Hattrick Hero is quite excited about taking the film to the other markets, where, he candidly admits, he has a whole new fan following after his very successful cameo in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer. One of the activities that the team has lined up for Shivarajkumar involves one of his favourite sports – cricket. Next week, the Century Star will be at the India vs Pakistan match in Ahmedabad and will indulge in a spot of commentary too.

Ghost is an action heist thriller, which unfolds in a prison. The actor has three shades in the film, one of which is a gangster avatar, while another is a de-aged version that fans are very excited about. The team is looking at making Ghost into a franchise, which will also be a part of director MG Srinivas’s Srinivas Cinematic Universe that includes the Birbal movies. Ghost, which also stars Jayaram and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles, has music by Arjun Janya.
