Ghajini, the much-loved action thriller film, which featured Suriya and Asin Thottumkal in the lead roles, had its re-release across the globe recently. The blockbuster movie, which is helmed by hitmaker AR Murugadoss remains one of the biggest blockbusters in both the Tamil film industry, and in its leading man Suriya’s career. Ghajini, which is now successfully running in all major cities across the globe, has been receiving excellent responses from audiences.

The AR Murugadoss directorial, which hit the theatres once again following the ongoing re-release trend in Tamil cinema, has received a warm welcome from the cine-goers. The audiences are now showering love on Sanjay Ramasamy and Kalpana’s (played by Suriya and Asin Thottumkal, respectively) iconic love story which broke millions of hearts in 2005. The pictures and videos of Ghajini's re-release celebrations from the theatres are now taking social media by storm.
“It's been around 19 years, but the craze for the film remains the same!!” wrote a proud Suriya fan, on X (formerly Twitter). “The moment I realized she is richer than me by heart... The unsaid goodbye... Don't miss to watch in theatres #Ghajini re-release,” reads another fan post. “No doubt @ARMurugadoss’ career best film, wrote a cine-goer. “Didn't miss it this time! The sequences with Suriya and Asin, accompanied by Harris Jayaraj's music, are still fresh,” wrote a netizen.

Ghajini - Plot, cast and crew
Ghajini revolves around the life of Sanjay Ramasamy, the owner of AirVel telephone company and multimillionaire, who suffers from anterograde amnesia. Still, he is hellbent on avenging the tragic demise of his lady love Kalpana, who was a struggling model. Sanjay’s story is unveiled through Chitra (Nayanthara), a medical college student who selects his case file for her research on brain injuries. Harris Jayaraj composed the iconic music of this AR Murugadoss directorial, which features a stellar star cast including Pradeep Raway, Riyaz Khan, Manobala, Sathyan, and others in the supporting roles.
