Unni Mukundan's Marco has all been the rage in Malayalam cinema up until recently. After the violent actioner, Unni Mukundan is set to bring a dose of laughter to the cinema halls in February 2025 with Get Set Baby. The film, directed by Vinay Govind, has now confirmed its release date to be February 21, 2025. Here's everything that you need to know about the Unni Mukundan-starrer Get Set Baby, which also features Nikhila Vimal.

Unni Mukundan’s Get Set Baby release

Get Set Baby, starring Unni Mukundan and Nikhila Vimal in the lead roles, will be released in theatres on February 21. While sharing the update on social media, the leading man wrote, "Hey Babies, GetSet for Feb 21st! Delivering laughter in theatres worldwide!! #GetSetBabyA Complete Family Movie !!"

Get Set Baby plot and cast

Unni Mukundan stars in the lead role of an IVF specialist in the film which tracks the various challenges he faces and how he overcomes them.

The film, touted to be a comedy-drama, also stars Nikhila Vimal as the leading lady. Shyam Mohan, who shot to fame with Naslen-Mamitha Baiju’s Premalu, is also a part of the cast. Chemban Vinod also appears in a key role in the film along with Johny Antony and Meera Vasudevan.

Anoop Ravindran and YV Rajesh have penned the light-hearted film, which has music by Sam CS. Alex J Pulikal handles the cinematography.

The filming of Get Set Baby was wrapped up in March 2024 with Unni Mukundan sharing the update on his social media.

Since then, there has not been any official update regarding the film’s release. Now, the makers have confirmed the film to be up for a February 2025 release.

Unni Mukundan’s Marco

Unni Mukundan was last seen in Marco, which was released in theatres on December 20, 2024. The action-packed film, with its stomach-churning violence, was termed as the most violent film in Malayalam. Reports about Marco’s OTT release have been doing the rounds on social media for a while now, but the makers have yet to give a confirmation.

On the other hand, Nikhila Vimal’s film Oru Jaathi Jathakam, starring Vineeth Sreenivasan, will be released in theatres on January 31, 2025.
