The film, written and directed by Apsar Hussain, also stars Sai Kumar, Gayathri R Suresh and Sheetal Bhatt,
Both films of Sandeep Madhav as a lead actor, Vangaveeti and George Reddy, were released in theatres amidst huge mass hysteria and expectations. Playing two controversial yet popular real-life characters in consecutive films is no joke but the young actor proved his mettle as a performer despite the projects failing at the box office. Exercising caution in his choices, he took considerable time to sign his next film after George Reddy, titled Gandharwa. The actor is confident about the film's prospects. The first look and motion poster of Gandharwa were unveiled earlier today.
Gandharwa's first look has Sandeep's hands tied to a chair where he's trying to bash up a goon with his legs. As the poster signifies, the film will have intense action sequences. The motion poster, set to a pulsating, massy background score, is an extension of the sequence with the goon bearing the brunt of his actions in front of the male lead and the latter sends him packing. The film's written and directed by Apsar Hussain. Gandharwa's shoot has already neared completion. Also starring Gayathri R Suresh and Sandeep Madhav in pivotal roles, Gandharwa is produced by MN Madhu under Funny Fox Entertainments and Veera Sanker Silver Screens.
The supporting cast looks solid with veterans like Sai Kumar and Suresh adding sheen to the narrative. Raprock Shakeel is on board as the film's composer while Niranjan J Reddy is the cinematographer. Ramajogayya Sastry and the director Apsar have penned the lyrics for the numbers. Baswa Paidi Reddy serves as the film's editor while JK Murthy leads the art direction team. While Sandeep Madhav has already gained acclaim as an actor, one hopes Gandharwa gives him the commercial success he truly deserves
