Century Star Shiva Rajkumar also paid a surprise to the sets of the untitled film starring Kireeti Reddy.
The news of Genelia Deshmukh's comeback to south Indian cinema was met with unanimous positivity. As someone who found incredible success in the Telugu and Tamil film industries between the years 2003 and 2012, Genelia also dabbled in Kannada cinema in 2008 with Satya in Love which also starred Shiva Rajkumar. And now, almost a decade-and-a-half later, will return to Sandalwood with the upcoming bilingual film.
The untitled film will serve as the launchpad for Kireeti Reddy, son of industrialist and politician G. Janardhana Reddy. Directed by Radhakrishna Reddy, the team was stationed in Bengaluru recently for the shoot and much to everyone's delight, the Century Star Shiva Rajkumar himself paid a surprise to the sets to wish everyone the best. The production was in full swing when the Vedha actor showed up and the pictures of the same visit have now gone viral on social media.
Shivanna can be seen interacting with the debutant Kireeti Reddy and the latter's father G. Janardhan Reddy. The entire unit, including Kireeti, was not only pleasantly surprised by the visit but also endeared by the presence of the superstar on the sets.
The upcoming Telugu-Kannada film has been produced by Sai Korrapati's Vaarahi Chalana Chitram which has previously produced several high-profile Telugu films such as Eega and Legend. Sree Leela will star opposite Kireeti Reddy in the upcoming film with the very popular Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music. The title of the production will be announced on September 29 to mark Kireeti's birthday.
On the other hand, Genelia Deshmukh made time for a courteous visit to her Satya in Love co-star Shiva Rajkumar's home in Bengaluru. The actress was joined by her husband and fellow actor Riteish Deshmukh, Kireeti Reddy, and G. Janardhan Reddy who shared a few delightful moments with both Shivanna, wife Geeta Shiva Rajkumar, and daughter Niveditha.
