Gehraiyaan Twitter Review: Netizens call the Deepika Padukone-Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer a remarkable film, some don't get the hype

The highly-anticipated Amazon Original Movie Gehraiyaan is finally here. The Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa starrer, which has been directed by Shakun Batra, is a relationship drama that follows the story of a woman, who finds herself at a crossroads in life. The latest movie has been receiving immense lauds from critics. Some of the audience as well appreciates the film and the actors hugely and shares their reviews on social media sites, while some calls it a snooze.

One of the Deepika fans, appreciated the character played by the actress and mentioned in a tweet, "Alisha really broke my heart. I really just wanted to hug her, and tell her she is loved. Again, amazing job @deepikapadukone #Gehraiyaan (sic)."

While another fan appreciated the actress in a most quirky way and wrote on Twitter, "choked, gasped felt every bit of it! how effortless you're @deepikapadukone with every emotion you potray!!! gonna rant about her for a long time now #gehraiyaan (sic)."

Another viewer mentioned how surprised he was seeing the impeccable acting by Ananya. The fan also called her acting refreshing.

While some loved the performance of the actors and the story of the film, some of the audience didn't like the film as much as it has been hyped.

A Twitteratti informed on the social media site that the Shakun Batra film is a remake of a Hollywood movie and it's not as good as the original one. The Tweet reads, "Movie was remake of Match point , they just change the scenario....!! If you watch match point ,#Gehraiyaan will seem too bad then in front of match point !! Sadly I really love match point....so this movie was bad. (sic)."
