Gehraiyaan song Doobey: Deepika Padukone-Siddhant Chaturvedi show the euphoric sensation of falling in love

The Amazon Original Movie's soundtrack, Gehraiyaan is one of the year's most anticipated albums. The teaser's title track is already trending on social media, and Doobey, a snippet of which was shown in the trailer, has left fans wanting more! The wait is over, as Doobey, the first song from the film's soundtrack picturised on Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi, is now out!

The seductive music was composed by Kabeer Kathpalia (aka OAFF and Savera), written by Kausar Munir, and sung by Lothika Jha, and designed by Ankur Tewari.

The video of the song Doobey is just beautiful and personifies the heady rush of falling in love between Deepika and Siddhant. The duo shows off their crackling chemistry, which is truly unmissable and can make one go weak in the knees.

From the beginning, Ankur Tewari understood that the music of Gehraiyaan had to be faithful to its story and allow the public to get captivated by the world of these characters. He also shared that Kabeer, Savera, and Kausar, the lyricist, have all done an outstanding job of bringing in the youthful vibe while maintaining the intrigue. While Lothika's vocals give the tune just the proper amount of freshness and energy,

"It was a fantastic experience to collaborate on this film and its music," says musician Kabeer Kathpalia, aka OAFF. He also appreciated the outpouring of support they have received since the initial teaser and called it truly remarkable and humbling. OAFF shared that they wanted to reproduce the sensation of freefalling with Doobey the high thrill of a new connection, of falling in love.

In addition to Deepika and Siddhant, the film also stars Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa, as well as Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur. The film will have its World Premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022, produced by Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions in collaboration with filmmaker Shakun Batra's Jouska Films.
