Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Aha. Ever since the film started streaming, the Anjali-starrer has been trolled over various issues.
Anjali
Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is Anjali's latest film, which was released on April 11, 2024. The horror comedy is a sequel to the hit 2014 film Geethanjali. Kona Venkat has written and directed both parts of this franchise. Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Aha.
Ever since the film started streaming on Aha, the Anjali-starrer has been trolled over a lot of issues. But the one aspect for which Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is being targeted the most is Kona Venkat's writing. Many comments on social media say that Geethanjali Malli Vachindi's writing is weak, and Kona Venkat has done a very disappointing job with his script.

There are hardly any thrills, and the so-called horror elements look over the top, wrote one viewer. Anjali played the female lead in this film, and her role was one of the highlights. Shakalaka Shankar, Srinivasa Reddy, and Satyam Rajesh played key roles in this film.
The comedy factor worked out big time in the first part, but the comedy in the sequel failed to impress. Geethanjali Malli Vachindi was made on a budget of Rs 6 crore and did not even make half of the budget. As the film is streaming on Amazon and Aha, the makers have struck a decent OTT deal.
Kona Venkat has been in the industry for a long time and has given some of the biggest hits like Dookudu in the past. But his writing is not that strong these days, and the same is being pointed out by the fans.
For Anjali, too, Geethanjali Malli Vachindi did not help one bit in her career. She was supposed to make a strong comeback with this film, but sadly, this did not happen. She has now pinned all hopes on Gangs of the Godavari, featuring Vishwak Sen, in which she plays a very interesting role. Watch this space for more updates.
