Gautham Menon's advice on watching Leo - 'Don't go expecting...'

It's safe to say that no other films in Thalapathy Vijay's career have created a pre-release hype similar to Leo. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo has dominated the Tamil pop-cultural discourse since it went on the floors earlier this year.
However, hype could be a double-edged sword. We have seen many instances of a super-hyped movie failing to meet the expectations of the audience post-release. It's a pitfall the audience must avoid to enjoy a creator's vision as opposed to expecting to see a product that fits their imagination.
Director Gautham Menon, who has also played a key role in Leo, has shared a similar sentiment. He has given a word of wisdom to the movie-going audience as to how to enjoy Leo.

"I won't go inside the theatre expecting Leo to be a certain way. I will go to the movie to see what Lokesh has given me. And whether I enjoy it or not that's my personal preference. I can't say that this film could have been like this. I like to wear a white shirt today. So you can't tell me that I could have worn a blue shirt," Gautham said during an interview.
Leo is set for a grand release
In Leo, Gautham has essayed the role of a cop. Judging from the trailer, he plays a friend to Vijay's Parthi in Leo.
It's noteworthy that, earlier talking about the movie, Gautham had promised a "mind-blowing" experience to the fans. He noted that he saw parts of the movie while dubbing for his portions and he seems to be mighty impressed by what he saw.

Besides Vijay and Gautham, Leo also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mysskin and Mansoor Ali Khan.
Leo has already shattered several box office records with its extraordinary advance ticket sales. The movie is likely to open in cinemas on October 19 to an earth-shattering response.
