Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying the success of his blockbuster film Jawan. Having crossed the Rs 500-crore mark at the box office, the film, directed by Atlee, is Shah Rukh’s second blockbuster hit of the year after Pathaan. It is little wonder then that the superstar has been receiving praise from people across the world. The most being from the former captain of Shah Rukh's cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Gautam Gambhir, who has called him "the king of hearts."

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Gautam shared a picture of him with Shah Rukh, in which both are twinning in black outfits. The cricketer-turned-politician captioned the post, “He’s not just the king of Bollywood but the king of hearts. Every time we meet I go back with endless love and respect. So much to learn from u. Simply the best SRK @iamsrk.”

Fans were quick to take note of the post and flooded the comment section with, “Looking good.. King khan ruling Indian cinema.” Another user posted, “SRK has done wonders at the box office. People have started going back to theaters. A good sign for the theatre industry that employs a good chunk of the population.” While another commented, “Its so good to see you two in same frame.”

Director Atlee’s Jawan marks the Hindi film debut of South Indian stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. It also stars Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Aaliyah Qureshi, and others. The film is currently in theatres.

Shah Rukh will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, which is slated to release in theatres during Christmas 2023.
