Gangubai Kathiawadi new poster: Alia Bhatt is one badass woman to watch out for

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, which also has Ajay Devgn, Seema Pahwa, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Jim Sarbh in key roles, is all set to hit the silver screens on February 25.

Ahead of Gangubai Kathiawadi's release, the makers have unveiled another look poster of Alia Bhatt from the film. The latest image that is doing rounds on the internet, features the lead actress where she seems at her mid-age.

As the biographical movie graphs Gangubai's life from a teenager to old age, the latest picture displays her mid-age, where Alia seems to have put on a little weight as well.

The Highway actress shared her latest image with a badass note that translates as 'pint this in the newspapers tomorrow, Gangu is arriving in a week.' The full caption reads, "Likh dena kal ke akhbaar mein, aa rahi hai Gangu... EK HAFTE MEIN! #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas on 25th Feb (sic)."

Meanwhile, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the actors including Alia and Ajay Devgn have been facing a lot of backlashes from a few people. The family of Gangubai Kathiawadi has recently filed a defamation suit against the director of the film, the novelist Hussain Zaidi (from whose book titled The Mafia Queens of Mumbai, the movie has been adapted) and the lead actress among other people associated with the forthcoming venture.

The film, which features Devgn in an extended cameo role, also has Seema Pahwa, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Jim Sarbh, M. K. Raina and others as key characters.

Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to hit the silver screens on February 25.
