Actor Kangana Ranaut has targeted Alia Bhatt's latest film, Gangubai Kathiawadi yet again. The film, which released on February 25, collected over Rs 39 crore over the opening weekend and Ranaut calls it 'movie mafia mathematics'.

Recently, Kangana's sister and manager, Rangoli Chandel took to Instagram stories to share the new stills from her film, Dhaakad, hoping that it will break all box office records. Kangana shared the post on her story and wrote, “Movie mafia mathematics… 75 crores film does 43 crores in three days and they call it ultra disaster…160 cr film does 35 cr and it’s a super hit.”

She wrote in her other story, "It’s not a fight about me versus them… it’s hope ki no system no racket no mafia no paid PR can beat real talent and honest work.”

Rangoli had also mentioned in her other post about the film Manikarnika, led by Kangana. She wrote it became one of the highest-grossing movies at the box office, despite facing competition from films like Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike at the time of its release.

However, Alia Bhatt has decided not to respond to Kangana's criticism. At a promotional event earlier in Kolkata, Bhatt reportedly said in a press conference, "Lord Krishna had said in The Gita, inaction in action. That’s what I will say.” Bhatt was reportedly speaking at a press event for Gangubai Kathiawadi in Kolkata."

Meanwhile, the film, which released in theatres has been receiving positive responses. The film, based on the life of Gangubai, who was a gangster in Mumbai's largest red-light area, Kamathipura, also features Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Seema Pahwa, Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgn.
