On March 9, Bollywood trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted that Gangubai Kathiawadi had made it to the 100-crore domestic revenue club. “And #GangubaiKathiawadi hits century today [Wed], the fourth #Hindi film to achieve this number [💯 cr], post pandemic [#Sooryavanshi, #PushpaHindi, #83TheFilm]...” he wrote. And today, the production house, Bhansali Productions, confirmed the same, posting on social media, “She reigns over our hearts & the box office!” accompanied by a still from the film and 102.68 cr domestic box-office collection emblazoned on it.

And how did Alia celebrate her big box-office win? By treating herself to a vegan burger and fries. Along with an image of her enjoying her treat, she wrote, “Happy century to Gangubai & happy vegan burger + fry to Alia 🙃💯 Thank you for all the love 🤍🌙.”
