Gangs of Godavari, the recently released Telugu film starring actor Vishwak Sen in the lead role, is now available for watching from the comforts of your home. The film is streaming on Netflix. The post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix for a fancy price and the film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
After Gaami, Telugu actor Vishwak Sen had his second release this year with Gangs of Godavari. The film hit theatres on May 31 and is an action drama. However, in what may seem as a short duration, within two weeks of its release, the film is now available on Netflix to stream.

Gangs of Godavari is written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya who has previously helmed films like Rowdy Fellow and Chal Mohan Ranga. Besides Vishwak Sen, Gangs of Godavari also stars actors Anjali, Neha Shetty, Nassar, and P Sai Kumar, among others.
The Telugu film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and was shot by cinematographer Anith Madadi. As per sources, the film is said to have a sequel and Krishna Chaitanya has readied the second part already.
The film is bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, with Venkat Upputuri and Gopichand Innamuri as co-producers under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.

The film opened to mixed reviews upon its release. OTTplay review of the film reads, "Gangs of Godavari is a rural action drama with some great performances. Vishwak Sen leads from the front, but the lacklustre second half and lack of grip in the proceedings take the film down quickly and make it a below-par watch this weekend."
Gangs of Godavari was recently in the news after an incident from the film event went viral. Veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, who had graced the event, was seen pushing actor Anjali on the stage, which the latter laughed off. But several social media users condemned the action by the senior actor.
