Gandeevadhari Arjuna on OTT: Runtime to be chopped for the digital release, here's what we know

Varun Tej is one of the most bankable stars in Telugu cinema. But sadly, his last few films have bombed at the box office. Varun worked hard on his body to play a boxer in Ghani but the film was a massive flop at the box office.

Seeing the result, he shifted gears and joined forces with director Praveen Sattaru for a stylish action drama titled Gandeevadhari Arjuna. Varun played a spy in the film. The action drama was released on August 26, 2023, with a low buzz. The film took a very dull start at the box office as the word of mouth was bad.

In just a week of its release, Gandeevadhari Arjuna was out of the theatres disappointing Varun Teja big time. But as the lanky hero is all set to get married soon to Lavanya Tripathi, he has now got busy with the prep for his wedding.

Gandeevadhari Arjun OTT rights details

Well, we at OTTplay have revealed that the streaming giant, Netflix has bought the OTT rights of the film for a fancy price. The news is that Gandeevadhari Arjun will start streaming from September 24, 2023 onwards.

The news now is that the makers have decided to edit a few scenes and release the film with a shorter runtime. Gandeevadhari Arjuna's runtime is two hours and sixteen minutes but the OTT version will be only two hours and ten minutes. The film has multiple chaces and some of them have been chopped off in the digital release.

Sakshi Vaidya played the female lead in this film and this is her second big flop after Akhil Akkineni's Agent. She played an action-packed role in the film which was shot mostly in Europe. The makers lost big money with the theatrical run but the news is that they have made big bucks with the OTT release on Netflix.
