The trailer of Ganapath has now released. It is a mix of VFX and raw action. The clip sees Tiger Shroff transform from Guddu to Ganapath (a reference to Ganapati aka Lord Ganesha). The 2.30 minute clip promises us about a ‘yodha’ who doesn’t die.

What is the trailer all about

Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon are seen in the role of fighters in the film. They will remind you of Baaghi. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is seen as the antagonist in the film. His look is rather unusual but not unexpected.

The VFX

There is a portion in the trailer which promises VFX. This is a robotic tiger and an Indian version of Darth Vader from the Star Wars universe.

Ganesha connection

Ganpath rises with the blessing of Lord Ganesha. It is to be noted that the movie’s trailer has released some time since Ganesh Chaturthi.

Hum Aaye Hain craze

Before the trailer, Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon managed to create a craze for their song, Hum Aaye Hain. The track released on Friday and the teaser itself managed to create a craze. Tiger further performed on the song during a recent event in Doha. This took the excitement for the track on a whole new level.

Ganapath releasing after delay

The release of Ganapath was delayed owing to various reasons. Tiger too expressed he was upset with the delay but finally, the film has a release date. The movie is now releasing in theatres on October 20. It is a Dussehra release and will be out with Divya Khosla Kumar’s Yaariyan 2.

The other cast and crew

Ganapath is helmed by Kangana Ranaut’s Queen director Vikas Bahl. The movie also features Amitabh Bachchan and Elli AvrRam in pivotal roles. It is bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment.

Ganapath releases three weeks before Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-Emraan Hashmi’s Tiger 3 and a week before Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas. It is the second collaboration for Tiger and Kriti after their debut film together, Heropanti.
