Game Changer release effect: Release of two Telugu biggies to be pushed | All the details are here

Game Changer is all set to hit theatre screens on December 20, 2024. Two films, Thandel and Robinhood, which were supposed to be out on the same date, have been postponed.

Game Changer is one of the most-awaited Telugu films, as Ram Charan has teamed up with acclaimed director Shankar for the first time. The period drama has been in the making for three years and is finally nearing its completion.

Ram Charan is done with filming his parts of the film and only a week's shoot is left to be canned. Dil Raju is the producer of this magnum opus and at the pre-release event of Raayan, he revealed that Game Changer will hit theatre screen during Christmas 2024.

We at OTTplay have already revealed that Dil Raju has set December 20, 2024, as the release date of Game Changer, and the same will be announced soon. Now that Ram Charan's biggie has suddenly made its entry into the Christmas holiday season, there will be a few films that will be postponed.

Makers of Thandel and Robinhood upset with Game Changer

Two other Tollywood biggies, Thandel and Robinhood, had zeored-in on December 20, 2024, as the release dates for a while now. Now that Ram Charan's Game Changer has suddenly come into the picture and is seeking the same release date, the news in Tollywood film circles is that the producers of Thandel and Robinhood have no other option but to push the release of their films.

Robinhood is a crime comedy with Nithiin as the main lead. The news is that Robinhood is eyeing the Sankranthi 2025 release. A section of the media also says that Nithiin is in no mood to postpone his film and is planning to release Robinhood on the said date.

On the other hand, the makers of Thandel are looking to advance the release date and release the Naga Chaitanya starrer during Dussehra in October 2024. The makers of these films are quite upset that Dil Raju has set Christmas 2024 as the release date of Game Changer. As he is a big producer and owns a majority of theatres in Telugu states, he can dominate the release.

So, the makers of Thandel and Robinhood are looking at other dates to release their films.
