Game Changer: The Censor board has passed Ram Charan's film with a U/A certificate and we at OTTplay bring you detailed updates on this aspect.
Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's Game Changer is set to hit screens on January 10, 2025, as a Sankranthi special. Recently, the action drama completed its censorship and received a U/A certificate. While the board approved the film, it flagged two points for revision.
First, the board requested that the title also be displayed in Telugu, noting that since Game Changer is a Telugu film, the title should reflect that in the native language. Additionally, Brahmanandam, who plays a key role, was credited as "Padma Shri" in the title card. The board instructed the makers to remove the honorific and credit him by his screen name.
The board also asked for certain curse words used by the villain to be muted. These changes have been implemented, and the final copy is now locked. Ram Charan is expected to watch the film once the pre-release event is held on January 4, 2025.

Directed by Shankar, Game Changer carries high expectations. Shankar is confident the film will resonate with audiences across all sections. Thaman has composed the music, though he has faced criticism for delivering what some consider an ordinary soundtrack. While the songs have gained popularity online, general audiences have expressed mixed reactions, leaving some fans disappointed.
Game Changer has been in production for the last three years, generating occasional negative buzz. However, the release of the teaser has significantly improved the film's outlook. Ram Charan will appear in a double role, one of which features him as a village character.
In a recent interview, director Shankar praised Ram Charan’s performance, predicting that he will secure a National Award for his role. Producer Dil Raju, who has already watched the first copy, is highly satisfied with the final output and is strategizing to maximize the film’s reach.
A massive pre-release event is scheduled in Rajahmundry, with Pawan Kalyan set to attend as the chief guest. This event is expected to elevate the film’s hype even further. Stay tuned for more updates on this highly anticipated project.
