Game Changer box office collection day 7: Ram Charan's film saw a growth in occupancy due to the Sankranthi festival but things have gone back to square one as the collections have dropped heavily.
Game Changer day 7 box office
Game Changer is Ram Charan's new film, which hit the screens on January 10, 2025, in a big way. Although the film opened with a bang and made decent numbers on its first day, occupancy dropped due to negative word of mouth. However, the film is holding well in a few areas, thanks to the Sankranti 2025 festival holidays.
To date, Game Changer has earned Rs 118 crore—a decent figure given the mixed word-of-mouth response at the box office. After making Rs 7 crore on day six the film earned only Rs 5 crore on day seven worldwide. With each passing day, collections are steadily declining in many areas of its release. Game Changer needs to reach at least Rs 130 crore to enter the safe zone.
With an upcoming weekend, there may be a slight boost in traction, but unfortunately, occupancy continues to drop. Despite entering the Rs 100 crore club, Ram Charan has been praised widely for his solid performance in the film.
Directed by Shankar, Game Changer carried immense expectations, placing significant pressure on him to deliver. Unfortunately, the film did not meet these expectations. While some viewers appreciated the movie, the overall mixed response has dampened the mood for the makers.
As reported by OTTplay, the Game Changer team is visibly upset with anti-fans and a few reviewers who targeted the film. Ram Charan also shared a strong message, thanking his team and critics for supporting his performance.
Game Changer had been in production for three years and faced multiple delays, with director Shankar being one of the reasons. In one of his interviews, Shankar admitted he was not satisfied with the final output. This statement caused controversy and upset many fans of Ram Charan.
Whatever the reasons, the film's collections are dropping significantly. With the festive holidays concluding today, it remains to be seen how much more the film can earn in the coming days. Stay tuned for more updates.
