Gadar 2 fandom: Multiplex and single screen to show the Sunny Deol starrer 24/7 amid huge demand for tickets

Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 breaks a record as various theaters in small towns will run shows in the early morning hours.

Sunny Deol's latest movie, Gadar 2: The Katha Continues the follow-up to the 2001 cult blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is creating frenzy amongst fans. The movie, which released on August 11, 2023, has been shattering box office records while playing to crowded theaters and single screens around the nation.

Gadar 2 has already begun breaking records after its release. Many theaters have started showing the movie after midnight and in the morning because of the irrational demand. According to the recent reports, based on the extreme demand for tickets from the audience, multiplex chains and single screens decided to go with 24x7 showcasing for the film. The early morning and late-night shows have already begun to see solid viewership.

Gadar 2 has been drawing audience to both multiplexes and single screens. In this Anil Sharma directorial, Sunny Deol plays Tara Singh and once more, makes a second trip to Pakistan in order to bring his son Jeete (Utkarsh Sharma) back to India. As Sakeena, Tara Singh's wife and Jeete's mother, Ameesha Patel also makes a comeback.

The cast also features Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha, Simrat Kaur, Mir Sarwar, Rohit Choudhary, and Rakesh Bedi in addition to Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. Mithoon composed the score for "Gadar 2," and Monty Sharma composed the background music.

Gadar 2 emerged to be the second highest grosser of 2023 after Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. The film is competing against another sequel, Akshay Kumar's "OMG 2" at the box office.
