Gadar 2 is garnering non-stop success critically and commercially. After having a record-breaking collection on Wednesday by minting over Rs 34 crore, the Sunny Deol starrer earned a little over Rs 22 crore and came closer to 300-crore mark. On the other hand, its competitor since the first day of release, OMG 2 was only able to gather around Rs 5 crore on its seventh day.

According to a report on Sacnilk.com, even after seeing its lowest box office collection on Thursday, Gadar 2 was able to mint over Rs 22 crore.

Day 1 - Rs 40.1 crore

Day 2 - Rs43.08 crore

Day 6 - Rs 32.37 crore

Day 7 - Rs 22.00 crore

The official synopsis of Gadar 2 informs that after getting his wife back from Pakistan post-partition, Tara Singh has to go back to bring his son, Charanjeet, back home during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

Fans clearly loved the emotional angle in the film with a lot of action-packed sequences and lauded Sunny Deol as Tara Singh. Soon after watching the films in theatres, the cinephiles took to Twitter and shared their reactions to the movie.
