Vishwak Sen is high on the success of his last film, Gaami. The fantasy drama has clocked over 70 million on Zee 5 and is still going strong. On the other hand, Vishwak Sen is ready with his new film Gangs of Godavari. This film was supposed to be released before Gaami, but the makers gave importance to Gaami and released it first.

Well, things are clear now, and Gangs of Godavari is all set to hit the screens on May 17, 2024. The makers finally released the teaser today, and it looks electrifying, to say the least. Vishwak Sen is seen in a never-before-seen avatar in the film, and his action-packed avatar wins you right away.

Vishwak Sen shines in an action packed avatar in Gangs of Godavari
The teaser starts with the voiceover of actor Sai Kumar, who reveals the crime-filled backdrop of the Godavari region. Cut to the teaser, Vishwak Sen is shown in a very massive avatar, axing people left and right. Gangs of Godavari is based on the story of the fishing mafia, and Vishwak Sen will be seen as a fisherman.
His angry young man avatar and his dialogue, I am not a good human being, showcases that the film is going to be filled with action and gritty drama. Lyricist Krishna Chaitanya is directing this film, which has DJ Tillu fame Neha Sshetty as the female lead.
The production values by Sithara Entertainments look top-notch. Yet another special aspect of the film is that Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for it. His BGM is amazing in the teaser and elevates the story and drama to another level. Netflix has bagged the OTT rights to the film.
The action blocks, gripping BGM, and solid village setup look amazing in the teaser and give the film a solid buzz before the release. We need to see how this film fares at the box office. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
